When does Christmas officially begin for you?

Some say it begins when they have see the Coca Cola advert. Others when they have the tree up.

Mine is when we have bought the tree (which will be today) and that lovely smell of pine it gives to the lounge. I also love the Christingle & Crib service in Church.

I'm not too sure........I buy next years Christmas cards and wrapping paper in the January sales.......I buy presents through out the year....this helps ease the financial strain........I start the wrapping of presents late October/November.......I am in the process of writing cards now.......I have found that as I have matured(got older) it is less easy to get into the Christmas spirit.
I suppose Christmas proper, starts on Christmas Eve with the cooking preparations.

I think my husband would think me a very poor wife if I gave him a pot noodle for his Christmas dinner......and although I don't think it will be Turkey, we will have a roast of some description......so there will be sprouts to peel, carrots to cook, stuffing to make, plates to warm...you know the kind of thing.
Hang on though...if you are having just a pot noodle perhaps you don't!
