It does not matter about your keys, your name has to be on the list, and they have a doorman:D

My insensitive nephew, who happens to be a consultant anaesthetist, cracked a joke in the taxi on the way to the crematorium for my mother's funeral, about what they would do with her metal hip.
People who deal with death every day have to detatch themselves from death by dealing with it flippantly.

Bet that didnt go down very well MargR.

I agree they seem to be immune from death people in that profession but if they wernt then I suppose they would be going home every day in tears.

How can a person 'happen' to be an anaesthesist?
Was he signing on and sent for an interview by the dole?

Or did he actually qualify as a Doctor first?

I heard that too Margaret, think it was covered in a TV program

It does seem a shame to waste all this heat. It is just the moral view that may hold this project up... hope they can go ahead with it though. According to a councillor for Redditch, would only take four years before savings would start to show, after the capital for the laying of pipes, etc.

Mind you, digressing a little, this I find a little more creepy whereby a Cambridge crematorium is looking to reduce us to liquid.

Handed your loved ones remains in a bottle, eh ? Would you get a choice of bottle ? Wonder if Less and Mick could choose one of their favourite beer bottles.... :D:D

If it happens we could make sure you're still turned on again, at least once a night.
