Re: A letter to Mr Cameron !

Funnily enough, one of my first posts(still don't know how to track my own posts) was a version of the 'Pensioners in Prison' quote which I'd abreviated from a friends email( didn't know how to cut and paste).
I also got told off, by Less I think. Never thought of explaining the source, one of the unwritten rules? Once learnt-!
Don't be put off, ejay, just wander through the posts on Accyweb and you'll realise nearly everyone is mad, bad or ugly. Just join them and have fun!

If you click on your name on one of your posts, a pull down menu appears

One of the choices is:-

Find More posts by Gorden Booth

It really is as difficult as that.
;)

I'm stupid, stupid, stupid! Or going senile!
I've done that with other peoples posts, never thought to do it with my own. Thanks, Less.

Why does it matter how many posts he has made?

I agree, but there appears to be a version of 'initiation rites' in operation.

Thanks to all 'threaders' ! Never expected 'the letter' responses to develop into discussions over initiation rites !!
Expected some tongue in cheek humour re the suggestion of giving illegal immigrants a cow each, or putting the prisoners in nursing homes and the those in need of care and tlc in the prisons !
Ah well - might be an OAP but it's obviously never too late to live and learn.
Good to know there are others out there still finding their way around Accy Web too !
TTFN.

Welcome to the forum anyway.
Please don't let it put you off posting.

I agree ... not a bad bunch on here, and as we say in the Great White North, "Screw 'em if they can't take a joke, eh"

By the way, you may come to notice that all the Canadians who post on here are real nice folks:alright:;):D:D:D

Oh ... and I love the bit about the cows:rofl38:

Must be the sceptical thing I have, when somebody introduces themselves with a "political thread" makes me think ulterior motive, it has been done before and no doubt be done again

Sorry I keep forgetting, the best way to welcome new members to our local friendly family forum is to give them as much stick as we can for the first few months

Wouldn't say it's a political thread Jay, okay the title may appear to be political but as soon as you start reading, well ..... & on top of that there's other stuff in there too. Don't go getting yourself all uptight mate (specially at your age :s_aim1: ;))
