Good beer Eric, you bet it was, them lads only ever had the best for themselves and why not. Just a wonder, when I lived in Hassy in the 70s my local was Wilson's, now at first it took some getting used to, being weaned on Thwaites, Lions and Duttons, but eventually got into drinking it. One afternoon I when to Wilsons Brewery in Manchester, with my Landlord, we were a little early so we called in at their social club next door to the offices, got two pints of bitter, both me and the Landlord looked at each other, because it was a different drink to what we got in our pub:eek:
