And a honeymoon at Bare-assed Beach in beautiful Saskatoon, Saskatchewan:alright:

But not in winter:eek: which, by the way, lasts for about 363 days ... give or take:D

Am sure some of us are trying to come up with a menu for the feast, a suitable toast to the bride etc., .... the possibilities, the possibilities:dancedog:

Stand her close to an open fire with crumpets slowly toasting between her cheeks.

That's very good news Margaret,
I have spent the last half an hour having a very interesting chat with one of Susie s friends who is also a member of the Friends of Morecambe Cemetery.
She told me she is in regular contact with Sue and thanked me very much for enquiring after her.
Since Margaret has spoken to Sue I will leave her to post any more information if she feels it is in good taste to do so.

Nice to see you back Susie, I wonder if your friend from the "Friends of the Cemetery" told you I had been enquiring after you. She told me you were home but not well but didn't elaborate. I traced you from the the article you wrote for the "friends of the Cemetery" which also had phone number on it.
Take your time lass, do what you can when you can now we know what's what.

Russell, just wondering who the cemetery person is and how you got their number. I haven't see or spoken to most of them for two years and they didn't know I was ill until recently and as for being in regular contact... Maybe the message was passed on to Gill Catterall who was on the cttee with me - she runs the Craigwell hotel on the front, just round the corner from us. Richard bumps into her occasionally as she walks her dog round here.

I'm also wondering what that article is that had my phone number on it...

You must be younger than I thought, well, perhaps if you really want a child?
Medical Science will help.

Oh, dear, Less. I was trying to be discrete!
I meant be a gentleman, step forward and make susie an offer she can't refuse(although she probably will).
Medical science indeed! There's nothing like the real thing.

Thanks Cashy, hope you had good hols. And it's good to be back online.

Enjoy your trip to Morecambe and may the best team win! Hope it's a good match, wish I was going too. When the games were played at Christie Park we could hear the cheers from our house but the new ground is a bit too far away.

Is this a double standard here, see section "Anything goes", thread "The bottom of my St. has geese and peacocks", post number 23. or is it "I can post what I want" but we have to do what we are told.

I received this e-mail this morning

Dear Accrington web..I don't know how to use your web, but my sister was a frequent user and was in touch with many people. I'd be grateful if you could do a post to let folks know that sadly she died on 31st December, 2013 and was buried in Morecambe. Anyone who wants to get in touch and carry on the conversations about joint family members from the past ( most of whom I don't even know about!) or otherwise anyone in touch with her, can email me at [email protected].

Yours Jenny Creasey(born in Accrington and still go back every couple of months!!!)

Re: Susie123.

Just thought I'd share with you the email I have sent to Jenny. I'm sure it echoes the sentiments of all who had the good fortune to know Susie, albeit through Accrington Web.

Hi Jenny – so nice to read the email you sent Mick at Accrington Web and which he kindly shared with us.

Your sister was a highly respected and much valued member of the Web ‘family’. Although to my knowledge none of us knew her personally (although we felt we did) there was a huge outpouring of sorrow when Susie passed away. We felt we had lost a friend.

Such a brave lady, Susie posted intelligent and thoughtful contributions. Often she made us smile.

Susie is much missed by all – as I know she will be by you.

Sincere regards

Re: Susie123.

I saw this post the post made by Mick this morning...but having things to do places to go, so postponed making any response.
I planned to contact Jenny with something similar to what Dotti has put.
Well said Dotti....I think you have got it in a nutshell.
