Toy trains....hmmm

I want to know ... Why grown men (and even some women) play with toy trains or operate miniature railways?

Is it because we are all kids at heart?,is it because their grumpy old folk with nothing better to do with their time?

Personally, I get that there may be a certain buzz that comes with creating something, turning it on and watching it work but I say leave the toy trains to the kids.

You wouldn't understand, normality of any form is beyond you.

Perhaps and if ever you mature enough to be classed as a kid then you may just comprehend.

More likely because they put their talents to something they enjoy, even if there are plonkers that try (and fail to extract the urine).

I'm sure you can get a buzz, no doubt from your herbal fags not from anything else.

Well you would, wouldn't you, you have less comprehension on anything normal in life than a 70's D.J.

I knew your response would be a tad wooden, I'm not toying with you Less,I want to track down and understand what makes grown folk play with toy trains.

No you don't you just want to be you, which is smarmy, creeping and very bad at 'low blows'.

Please don't attempt to hide your snide reason for starting this thread with the pretence that it is so you can gain knowledge.

You needed to attempt another dig just as you said you would in your rather useless does it matter thread.

Oh, do me a favour please don't like my posts whenever you do it makes my skin crawl.

You Ace hole.

Why do.people collect stamps......spot trains, or buses??
In fact why do people pursue any hobbies?
It might be because it relaxes them, gives them an interest.
As long as what they are doing does not impact on you, then you need not be bothered about what anyone else gets up to.
What they are doing is not illegal or hazardous.

Only allegedly.

He puts the bait out, hinting at illegal substances, but clouds the issue by using the term, 'herbal' fag when referring to his own indulgence.

Thus disguising from us the fact that his posts are the result of his own mind and not a drug altered one.
:o

And we know where them sorts end up M, at least I won't need to start a thread...I wonder if any of our members were DJs in the 70s.....hmm ;)

On your losing trail again aren't you?

Not getting your own way so you hint at nasty insinuations against the sites members AND on top of that, steal my line from post #2:-

Where do they end up?
Lots of people have very mundane and harmless pursuits......though why these should be of any interest to you is quite beyond me.
And what difference does it make if any of them were DJ's in the seventies.....just because some DJ's got up to no good doesn't mean that all DJ's were the same.
If you really have a point to make then please don't pussy foot around.
Say what you mean and then we know where we stand.

Accyexplorer, you like to reel people in don`t you?

I thought Less twigged it when he said you were` putting the bait out`

But your post #3 reference `wooden, toying and track`is classic angling.

Tight lines :D:D

I had noticed the same in his post, quite well done for him, I thought, he must be really tired now.

What hobbies do you have that others might not understand that we can pick apart in separate posts across the forum ?

I make mostly but not exclusively model boats, I also collect repair/restore vintage electric clocks. Most of my mates think I am very weird but each to their own. :D:D:D:D:D

Hey alan... Go on... il bite :D

Lately I spend most my spare time pc gaming. DayZ being my favourite game. I am a member of an online gaming clan and...... well the DayZ map is huge and is quite hard to navigate. So I bought one :D See picture

My current character I named SackHead, till they patch the game where you can't see through it after switching servers... Here is a few in-game shots. :D
