I was trying this last night thanks to Busman and it put paid to my early night! I'm all bleary eyed and yawning this morning. Have you found any of the pieces of the letter? I only found one.

Got both objects in the first room (0), and all objects in the second room (1), but can't get any further.
I assume that clues to the code are picked up throughout the game, but I can't get to any other rooms. What a weird game
