Hunting Scotsman in York?

I just had this question in one of the Funtrivia.com Quizzes. If this is true, I imagine any Scotts in York are unaware eh? It'd be a b gger on tourism!:

Brian

9. Apart from on a Sunday, it is legal in York to shoot a Scotsman with what?

Your answer: Bow and Arrow However only if you spot him within the city walls after dark. In Hereford you can shoot a Welsh person in broad daylight, but only on Sunday, with a longbow, in the Cathedral Close, too.

I bet both the Yorkshireman and the Scot would be arguing over who would pay for the arrow!
