Exclamation Weather - Thursday Morning 18th Feb

If you are driving this morning you might want to leave a little earlier.

M65 is a bit nasty between Accrington and almost to the M61

Side roads are snowy/slushy and some 2 lane roads are down to one. There is only a thin layer of snow/slush on the ground but it looks like it is melting at the moment which that is making it slippery.

If you are going south the M6 was clear from Preston down. In fact it looks like Preston is probably clear as well

Re: Weather - Thursday Morning 18th Feb

bury usually gets it worse than us but it seems to be thinning out and turning into slush pretty quickly on the road just take essentials if your going on a long trip

extra 20 ciggys / 50g rolling tobbacco

womans magazine to keep the mrs quiet if you get stuck

thats should be it really

Gritters were out last night. Got pelted with grit whilst walking down Whalley Road. Think more snow is forecast for next week. Sick of it.
