With Nori brickworks chimneys in the background, well done Atarah. Any idea of the date?

I used to live in the flat above the hairdressers nearly 30 years ago now. Hated it, loads of trouble with the kids there then.

CORRECTION:

The chimneys visible in the background of Atarah's photograph are not, as I said earlier, part of the Nori Brickworks, but actually belong to Whinney Hill Brickworks. My mistake.

Hi A-B. The two pics above. It seems to me that the chimney's in the first are actually the same chimney's as in the second. i.e. the power station.. The suns shadows are the same direction and the perpective is the same. The ratio of the height of the chimney's also seem the same in respect to the top of the cooling towers which appear very faintly in the first pic. What do you think A-B.? I could be wrong of course but the more I look at them both the more similarities I see.:)

I seem to remember talk of Huncoat Power Station being sold to a multi millionaire who wanted to turn it into some sort of Theme Park ......I remember reading all about it in the Accrington Oberserver...could be over 20 years ago now.
