I will pass your instructions to my tame tree cutter, AKA Richard or my garden gnome. This year we have topped the trees to the height of the fence, probably about 10 ft, the run is probably about 30ft. And the trees are on the outside of the fence, which means they are impinging on the private road and our neighbours' right of way. Grrr what a ****** he was.

A wrongly planted tree can cause all sorts of problems especially with neighbours, my neighbour has a small (for now)tree planted right in the top corner of his garden, so close to the fence 50 percent is overhanging over the fence into mine. At some point I will have to have a hissy fit with him.

Never thought of that, and never would have been up there if it wasn`t for you and this site. I`ve had my eyes opened to the beauties of the countryside, not just around here, but wherever I go. I was driving down to Norfolk a few days ago, and it was no longer just boring roads, but I found myself taking in the periphery and I have you to thank for that DM.

Nice of you to say so, but I think as a group we all bounce things off one another, even the "today" thread was a germination of an idea from a chance remark by another member. Also this panoramic thread was started by Restless, so we have him to thank for this imagined thread

I think it must have been the damp grass he was soaking up, I used to work in the grounds of the park in what seems like a lifetime ago. The building in photo one off to the left, derelict now, was my workshop and mess room.

I would have said centre and left, its not the technique, its the water that is never still and as you move around the water is moving, had the photo been a landscape it would not have been noticed. The clarity is spot on.

You`re right about the water, hadn`t noticed that. But centre and right isn`t quite right in the mountains. They aren`t as easy as they look these panoramic pics.
