Today in Pictures, it was a day when a dubbed gusset didn't just go far enough.
1. Now the droplet season has started just thought I would attach the droplet filter, and here it is the result. 2. A lichen, I do love a Lichen, but never lick a Lichen. 3. There isn't a dry stone wall for miles. 4. No none here. 5. Who would live in a house like this. 6. No, not a dry stone wall to be found anywhere on Pendle Hill. 7. There just had to be a moist moment. 8. If it got any wetter I would be swimming. 9. A wet bit and no dry stone wall. 10. There we have it, we are both moist beyond comfort, time to head home. |

Today in Pictures. set off not sure where I was going, parked the car and took a path I didn't know where it went, and arrived at a place I didn't know was there...........a bit like most days for me.
1. Arrived on the banks of the Calder in Padiham. 2. Butterbur everywhere. 3. I wasn't sure where this was, it turned out to be Gawthorpe Hall (built in 1600). 4. Its a Privet flower. 5. I am ambling around the grounds, I must come back here to have a better mooch. 6. Have you met Heather. 7. I think you should consider moisturiser. 8. Never forget a forget-me not. 9.Where's the weir. 10. You do realise,........ I will now wee the bed for snapping this. |
Re: Today in pictures

Some more photos taken around Cremona last Sunday morning.
1-5 show Piazza Stradivari where there was a market and foot races were underway 6-10 Piazza del Duomo where there was a demonstration of local photography -there were some amazing photos of the town by amateur enthusiasts. Spot Signor Mobertol on one of the photos! ;) |
Re: Today in pictures
To DaveMac, although we have never met, I feel like I know you, or should I say, your dog! So am I right or am I wrong? Is there a huge photo of YOUR DOG by any chance, on some newish notice boards which I spotted only this morning, by the traffic lights at Church (on the grass, near to where Blair Electricals used to be). The sign seemed to be "promoting" the area?

Hi, here is the "attempt" I made, to take a photo from a moving car. The photo of a dog can be seen approx 3 from the left hand side of the large advertising board.

Today in Pictures, started off as a short walk, and sort of elasticated into a walk along the canal to Blackburn.
1. Starting in Cutwood Park. 2. Along the reservoir, the water level is low. 3. Along the canal, and the flora has started to catch up. 4. My watch says this clock is 10 minutes slow. 5. A Sedum growing on a wall. 6. A stray Rapeseed plant. 7. Herds of wildebeest roam the plains, they are Moo Cows really. 8. A reflective moment. 9. I get a wave from a bee as I pass. 10. Does my bum look big in this. |
