Today in Pictures, today I wet my knickers.

1. A quick walk along the Greenway, I think the hailstone should have been a sign.
2. Not be long before they have all gone.
3. Ragged Robin has started, so has the rain.
4. The lightening is a bit heavy.
5. I think I have hit the buffers.
6. A view from the bridge.
7. Wild Garlic.
8. bluebell, and whitebells, so is this a pinkbell ?
9. It was at this point the rain became extremely large in size, and the absorbency of cotton became an issue.
10. At this point a return to the car was essential, although it was 15 minutes away. there was a small amount of sleet in the rain, and I realised my knickers were wet. I had them on my head to keep it dry, .......it didn't work.

I really must say where I am, and not assume everyone knows, its the old railway line through Padiham, it comes from Burnley and goes as far as Simonstone border. I start in the centre of Padiham, at the car park, adjacent to the river Calder next to the weir, the Greenway goes right behind the Leisure Centre. It has tarmac paths if you want to keep clean, however it does not stop you getting wet knickers.

I am starting to get a bit worried about you and your fetish for knickers Dave.
Do you have frilly ones and suspender belt and silk stockings.

It doesn't stop you taking good photos though.

As this post is a bit sexy here is a photo I took of a couple having sex outdoors.

You are describing my Sunday outfit, normal day wear often involves a pink Tutu, and shirt sleeves, no shirt just sleeves. I wouldn't want people thinking I was strange, I want people to know for sure.I have just noticed it is raining outside, so today it will be a rubber suit and sling back wellies, to be on the safe side............... So there you have it, I am just as normal as the next man.

If that is normal Dave I will stay abnormal.
By the way, where do you buy these weird adornments, it must be embarrassing to ask for them in a shop. Could it be obtained on line .

Lovely bluebells again. The stand of trees up above the reservoir looks like the one you could see in the distance from the kitchen window of our old house on Cranbourne Drive. There was a gap in the terraces on Dill Hall Lane behind it and you could see across the allotments and fields and up onto the hill beyond. Pretty sure it's there! :)

Could be the same, the pine trees to the right are the woods I walk through to get down to Dean Clough reservoir, and are visible from most of the high parts of the borough.

I had a drive to Walsden today to see my sister and thought I would take a photo of Stile House for Moberto.

The first 4 were taken through the windscreen. I admit to being lazy.

1 Stile House
2 Looking back down from Stile House.
3 The old factory house up Meadow Bottom Road
4 Coming back down Meadow Bottom.
5 Cliviger from Deerplay
6 looking further down the Todmorden Valley from Deerplay
7 The Cliviger Wind turbines from Deerplay
8 Burnley from Deerplay

9 & 10 Flora stuff for the nature lovers.

No wet knickers for me Dave.

If you are not going home with a moist gusset, you are not trying hard enough.
