That's a big tree to come down - looks like it only just missed the church!

Nice shots! Number 1 reminds me of flying over my city in a plane, so the angle works for me. Number 3 is my favourite though :)

I do hope Davemac isn't out in this inclement stuff.
I have just come in from daughters house and the rain has icy bits in it.
If he is out I hope his mother has a clean vest and socks warming in the oven! :D

That's what happens when you wet them in the fountain.

I certainly was, and as they say, you have to be in it to wet it. (but I wasn't out long).

Today in Pictures, a moist but brief outing to the park.

1. So that's a wet knee to start off with.
2. It's already wet, so just carry on.
3. It just seems a bit early for this flower, last year the sun was bouncing off my head, I am partially there, as something is bouncing off my head.
4. Hyndburn council employ a new driver, he has a woof first day.
5. Although it didn't stop him cocking his leg up on the tyre.

And with that it was home to the oven.

I guessed as much, looked to have snapped just below ground level.

It was pouring down and I thought to myself Dave will be out in this.......the kind of weather you wouldn't send a dog out in...and you are out on your knees snapping greenery and plants...lad, you must be mad!

It is an early flowering dwarf variety, but it still is a month early, it should not be out until March.

It certainly was an unusual day, as you say, you wouldn't send a dog out, yet I snapped a man, dressed as a dog, and he was out in it, sort of a triple wammy. Yet I am inclined to think you may be right about my collection of marbles being a few short.

Being in a restless sort of mood I was just mooching the site and I noticed this particular thread has had 204,433 views, I don't know, but is this a large number ?
