Lovely pictures Carolyn.

I love number three....it gives the impression of serenity.
Picture 6 reminds me of the up country town in Oz where my sister in law lived.....quaint and beautiful, with the iron lacework on the buildings.
I would love to live by the sea. (Yes, I know that yours are taken by a lake)I got second best.....the canal.

Dukes finally been given the all clear by the vets yesterday and is now OK to get wet and dirty, so took him for his first decent walk since his injury, he still has a bit of a limp but I think this will go in time.

Re: Today in pictures

There were some brilliant ideas to mark the day.
I liked that there were actors dressed as WW1 soldiers in Manchester....not speaking and giving passers by cards with a name of a fallen soldier on it.
A bit like ghosts from the past.
I watched a lot of the ceremony from the Thiepval Memorial....it gave me goosebumps.

Didn`t expect to get any pics tonight, was expecting lots of rain but it never came so managed a few.

1-3. Daisy & Duke.
4. I thought I`d have another go at panning, this is from a fair way away, looks like I caught a tailgater.
5. Looks like we have a local Kestrel, second sighting in a week.
6. Leaks fixed, can I go home now?

A stroll along the banks of the Ribble starting from the bridge past the cement works. If you can't see any cows in no 8 , have a look at number 9 which I zoomed in.
