Hi, just to remind folk to watch this film about the town centre

I'd forgotten what lovely buildings the Market Hall and Town hall were-they had style.
Not like the concrete boxes round them, but that's happened to town centres all over the country.

brings back memories when accy was accy .remember there was 2 kwik saves on union street , the big yellow taxi sign lol and hyndburn buses

Cheers, Atarah, great piece of film (although I had to turn the sound off, as the "music" is unlistenable). Lots of shops there for Bee to have a look at! Is it my imagination, or did the town look more lively and prosperous 20 years ago...even in the pouring rain!

it did and whole range of different shoppers plus the market and sunday market was a good visit.lots of market traders left if they stayed they clould have made it even better than todays.theres nothing wrong with the traders that are there today theyve struggled to survive good on them but there was a bigger buzz then, i remember

I can remember Accy like that when I was very young, I wish it was still like that now with the old market and the old layout of broadway. Miles better.
