Re: From the Coppice - Our House

Ya' know Kipax that was my biggest pleasure as a child when I climbed the Coppice, spotting our house.

Unfortunately, this is the only piccie I have at the moment, and my 'ex house' not on there ... was a little to the right off Queen's Road.

Re: From the Coppice - Our House

My grandfather was born and brought up on William Street. Mr K, do you have any pointing in the direction of Fern Gore?

I love the coppice and the views on a clear day are second to none in the terms of industrial towns. The shot of the club was excellent, I hope the ground improvements are progressing well…..

Re: From the Coppice - Our House

Yes great views I did the same myself as a kid lived in annie st ,spoke to a lady on here who went and took some pics of the street for me very gratful to her. The street looked just the same except the gardens now have the dreaded car in them instead of flowers, and as for the house prices well I was taken aback.
