Pics of Victoria St / Ormerod Rd.

Hi, all, does anyone have any pics of Victoria St / Ormerod Rd area in the 1960's ? Looking in particular for a pic of a bakers shop possibly on Ormerod Rd. A friend of mine had a serious road accident there, and was taken into the bakers shop. She was a small girl, aged 2-6ish, her memory not too clear, hit by a coal wagon, or a motor bike. She is trying to find any pics of the area around that time. Bakers has gone now, so any help much appreciated........ and if anyone remembers the accident, thats a bonus.... Thanking you all in anticipation........ M42

Re: Pics of Victoria St / Ormerod Rd.

Hi, Magpie, thank you so much for responding. The little girl was called Yasmeen, but due to a very odd upbringing, may have been known as Lyn (or just about anything....). Her name was changed several times, long, sad story... She is half Asian, if thats any help. She suffered a very severe head injury (still has a scar half way round her head), and she actually had last rites read... But she is still here, and is now my girlfriend, and desperate for any info regarding that part of her life. Her memories of that time are very hazy, and she may have attended the same school as you, but she moved around a lot. Thanking you again, Happy Christmas, Nigel.
