Re: Today in pictures

Great set of photos gpick.
I used to stay at the Glencoe hotel on my way to pick up a 44 foot twin screw motor cruiser me and my wife chartered from Banavie near Fort William.
We sailed all around the area for a couple of weeks, just the two of us. There was a boating club at Ballachuish near Glencoe where we moored one night.
It’s a fantastic place to visit.

Thanks Gremlin, we stopped at the Ballachullish hotel for the 2 nights when we were around Glencoe, we are now at the Great Glen Water Park on the banks of Loch Oich.

Re: Today in pictures

Did you get to see the locks at Banavie on the Cally canal.
We went up them and throught the canal to Cally marina at Inverness.
We dumped all the photos a few years ago when we downsized to a new bungalow.
Really regret it now.

Been there. done that, got the T-shirt!

Going back a few years we'd go up to the land of the Jockeens & spend about 5 days touring (covering mamy, many Distilleries) & all the local touristy places.
