My son has those square plates kate and i must admit i like em so i might just follow suit quite soon

My first convert, and a woman with a sensible son.

They fit on your lap too so much easily .. even if you have succumbed to a little distended tum.. can fit the corner in one of the folds .. soooo practical ... :D

Thinking about it they will be much more easily stored, than conventional ones.

No wasted corners in cupboards for dust to settle.

I think round ones are more popular because they are easier to make.

I don't think they make square potter's wheels.:D

Only trouble i found was when my son roped me into washing up and they dont sit in the strainer too well

Fit great in a dish washer though cherokee .. put this into your new re-furbishing .. good excuse.
