Re: pregnant
When I was having my children scans were unheard of. My first child - everyone said "You'll have a boy", but I knew, in my heart of hearts, it was a girl. With baby #2 I carried completely different. I'd been sick for the whole 9 months with Joanne but, with this baby, sickness stopped at 3 months and I carried it "all round", rather than all out in front. I told myself it would be another girl - and picked the name "Susan" - because I wanted a boy and refused to be disappointed but, really, I knew it was a boy and Alan arrived on cue; definitely a boy!
Ten years later I was pregnant again, unplanned, and I was permanently sick and carried all in front. I knew I was having another girl and Nicola arrived to confirm it. When my daughters were pregnant scans were quite normal. My eldest daughter lived in London until a month before her son was born and the hospitals there would not divulge the sex of the baby. Warrington hospital confirmed what I had told her - it's a boy! - I'm never wrong. :D My younger daughter had the daughter I had predicted |
