On the subject of the shoes, rubbing the soles with sandpaper to stop them being slippery is not considered as damaging them.

Have you got any of those circular sandpaper things you put on a drill attachment? You could cut some pieces off those and stick them on your soles.

Sorry for not knowing where she was getting married, lol! wasn't privy to that.
Any ways up, KSH's suggestion seems the most logical...cobblers, a couple of quid, and non slip rubber soles. that's what I do when i have slippy shoes. |
