Where do odd socks go???
 

This question has puzzled me since childhood

Where do all the "odd socks" go???

I just don't understand it..............

2 go into the washer, and only 1 comes out....

I always make sure that the socks go into the washer in pairs but on occasions only 1 comes out, does my washer eat them??? is there some magic portal in my washing machine for socks to move on to another world???

Does anyone have an answer to this?? would be great to know

Dont wanna ask god, was asking any accywebbers if they had the answer

Have asked god on numerous occasions and he's never answered so kinda gave up on that one

I always use a washing bag for stuff like undies and socks........they never manage to get out of a zipped bag:)

Nope.......well, they haven't managed it at my house yet.

I began using washing bags some 10 years ago when I brought a couple back with me from Oz.....the bags were on offer in an underwear shop.......fifty cents if you bought a bra or knicks.......I bought both and got two bags for a dollar.......which way back then was something like 40 pence..........I have used them regularly in that time and never has a sock wandered off on its own.
The other thing is........tights....you know how when you put them in the wash they tangle into everything else.....and the air is blue by the time you have untangled all the washing?????....well, with washbags that doesn't happen either....time and temper saved.:)

Same as wires in my opinion. Turn you're back and it's and orgy. No matter how neat you leave them, get up in the morning and 'bam', they are all wrapped round each other, caught in the act!!

It's my opinion, socks slip off into 'who knows where', to do the same.

So thats where they are all going!!! But theres no need to return them, will send all the "odd" ones here for you to pair them up :D
