apparently he was quite busy at the time and she had to hold his nuts while he popped her hood

In 1970 I had a year long romance:rolleyes: with a motor mechanic.
In 2003 our paths crossed again for the first time since then.
...And since then he phones me to offer free servicing - he won't be convinced that I don't need his services anymore ;):D

PS even once a year is too often when I only do 200 miles a year

LOL Margaret ... know what you mean ... I was married to one. Wonder if it is the same guy ... was always trying to regenerate his gears with new stock.

I'm glad to hear that, because I know that you use your car a lot.
Mine rarely gets started and then I don't get far.:)
....not that I miss travelling - though coach trips were quite a regular hobby only a few years ago - I recall saying 'you don't neccessarily need a PSV but it helps'
