The cold didn't bother me, as your toes go totally numb after your socks are completely soaked. However, I've gone a**e over t*t five times, but I only hit my head on the pavement on three of those occasions, so the headache isn't too bad.

I wonder what I'm doing on Accyweb though? Never heard of the place!

i have better advice,if ya cant wear shoes/boots etc, Dont go to work.

My favourite attire this week are my mountain walking boots and my ski pants. I haven't slipped yet in my boots and if I do, my pants are totally snowproof so I can avoid having a wet btm.

Sparks has a theory that if you want to stay upright in the snow you have to mince a bit when you walk. My colleagues and I tried this on the works car park after a night shift. Can't say for certain that it definitely works cos we were all falling about laughing.:D

Guessing that it might be (as someone described it on Radio 2 today) walking around like Inspector Poirot (David Suchet) when he is having deep thoughts about solving a crime. I know that is the way I am walking in my flat boots ....having to abandon my stilettoes for the time being ... :D
