i used to have a telephone landline problem

i couldnt get the other half off it

since shes been got shut of theres a healthy layer of dust formed on it and teh answer machine is full of nothing but PPI messages

if anything it is now merely a monument in teh hallway to show my kids just how bad things used to be and that despite been chordless you cant text.use the internet and can only wander a few yards from home beforfe you loose connection

We gave up landlines after David's deployment when we were in Texas. Getting phone calls at 2am /3am are scarier enough but not when your hubby and kids is in Iraq.
Then the schools would call me and tell me that it was a "snow Day"
I let her have it My son was over 18 and in Iraq and she calls me at 5 in the morning
