But Neil has it right. Pay as much attention to your dog's diet as you do to your own ... (he says as he breakfasts on a slice of cold pizza washed down with a beer:alright:)

Also, there are some breeds more prone to be flatulent than others. My Rottweiler, Hera (1994-2004) ... still miss her so much ... was a real room clearer. I remember feeding her leftover turkey once ... and only once. My vet told me that Rottis, in layman's language, fart a lot, whatever one feeds them.

Don't go playing with lighters now Eric.:D

Max has on the odd occasion let out a very loud belch. Mainly when he is on the back seat of the car and it always seem to be in my earole.

I couldn't do that Eric. It would make himself think that I condoned the foreign muck.(curry that is)...he can have spag bol. lasagne or that kind of stuff whenever he wants - as long as he doesn't expect me to either cook it or eat it.
I am away next week and I can bet my life that while I am away(probably at the beginning of the week) he will have a curry.
But all traces must be removed by the time I get back.....he will soak his plate and cutlery in a steradent tablet to make sure there is not a whiff of residue.

The smell of curry really does make me ill.

They're really cute, reminds me of Reggie (terrier) and Herbie (large ginger tom) that we had until three years ago when they passed to the rainbow bridge together within a few months. They were bezzie mates too!

I feed my 2 Beagles dried ish food recommended to me by a friend with 2 Staffies, his have always been on it even when one of them was having pups. The first thing you should try different food. Tins of meat and biscuits usually produce the most waste.
