If I put them all out at once, the council will be fined for too much going to landfill putting up next year's rates making me less likeable than Rolf Harris!

I wasn't aware of the Blackburn bookbinder. I use one at Lancaster university. There is also one in Leyland. I do a few repairs myself using glue. Do not use cellotape as it leaves marks when it dries out. I will gladly send you some linen sticky-backed tape which I got from a binder - Pm me your address and the height of the book

just a thought but if any of the local colleges are doing a book binding course or restoration course you could ask if they would use it as a test subject...

a learner under tutition must be better than less with his sticky stuff

Excuse me?
I offered to bring him some out of date cellotape.
Under no circumstances did I offer him sticky stuff or help of any kind.
