Peanut Butter Surprise
Nice, simple, tasty treat.
Take two slices of bread & toast lightly, then coat one slice liberally with peanut Butter, (you do not have to use Sun Pat this recipe works just as well with asda own brand). Pour on copius amounts of salt, place second slice of toast on top of ingredients then take a knife & slice in half (triangles only if it's Sunday). Present on a clean plate to the person you made it for. There you go a tasty snack. What about the surprise I hear you ask? Well, that is what appears on the other persons face as they bite in & say, "Oh, my God!, You know I'm allergic to peanuts!" & you with a wry smile on your face answer, "YES". :signntme: |

Nice one Less. :rofl38:
But be warned everyone. Feeding someone peanuts could be potentially deadly. http://www.ich.ucl.ac.uk/factsheets/families/F000279/ . |

Re: Peanut Butter Surprise
Hehehe. Sorry Less, I think you are right.
It appears I may have knocked the wind out of this one. My attempt on public information has proven to be a bad idea. Oh dear! I live and learn. Sorry Less. |
Re: Peanut Butter Surprise
It depends on whether you have had first-hand experience.
It's not funny. Sorry Less. |

Peanut butter......yuk and double yuk.

Re: Peanut Butter Surprise
Personally I love the stuff - especially the crunchy one.
Although if you have too much it sticks to the roof of your mouth and you get tongue ache trying to unstick it! |

can't eat it on anything except my finger which I know sounds disgusting but I do have clean fingers I cant use my finger when the jar is nearly empty because I have only got lickle handies.
|
Re: Peanut Butter Surprise
Stick your lickle handies in the jar then!!!

Re: Peanut Butter Surprise
I've got a recipe involving peanut butter for the most disgustingly sweet chocolatey things called "muddy puddles". It's an American recipe.
Does anyone remember the yoghurt spread which Asda used to do? My kids loved that on sandwiches with peanut butter. |
Re: Peanut Butter Surprise
Euugh, peanut butter! The mere smell of it is enough to make me honk!

But would it not taste five times as good if it was plastered over the others as well?!
|
Re: Peanut Butter Surprise
Use a spoon and then transfer from spoon to finger - easy.
|
Re: Peanut Butter Surprise
If you use a spoon you may as well cut out the middle man and go straight for the mouth!!!
|
Re: Peanut Butter Surprise
If God had meant us to eat peanut butter he would have given us Teflon coated mouths!

I had marmite and jam sandwiches once when I was little.
They tasted quite unusual, but surprisingly yummy! |
