I suppose the same would apply if we used beer cans as well.

Unless you crush them, heaving empty beer cans any distance is a real challenge. Full ones would have a real sting, but most guys would probably be able to field them cleanly.

A cascade of beer cans and hard-boiled eggs? You might draw a real crowd on the receiving end!

Yes, and on the TV adverts, that Eggstractor pump action looks reasonably similar to the chest compressions used for CPR or, perhaps, the Heimlich maneuver. While choking or in a time of cardiac crisis we gents might well appreciate someone taking the trouble, I doubt that we would find the "pump action" as something that might give pleasure.

Re: Hard boiled eggs

Success at last!

I was searching the other day for something easy to make, then discovered a 10 pack of eggs, (how come cans come in 4's, 6,s 10,s and 18's but eggs come in 6,8,10 or 12's?), they were only 3 months out of 'use by date', so what the hey, bung them in a pan.

I ate four straight away the others I ran under a cold tap and guess what?

The shell's fell off without any problem, isn't technology wonderful, here I am in intensive care and still, able to keep in contact with my friends?
