If your having a party or some kind of 'Do', Matalan (in Blackburn-not sure about the accrington one) now have a party section.
Its alot cheaper than anywhere else and they have a large range of everything!They stock all the character party kits (from TV and the usual pirates and princesses etc)....

I went all round Blackburn this morning trying to find ribbon for our balloons-the nearest thing we could find would have cost us £17.50 for the 70 metres we needed......got 500 metres of exactly what we wanted for £2.50!!!
Im a very happy bunny now They also do plates, cutlery, serviettes etc in loads of different colours (i bought the burgundy and pink stuff of course but they blue,green,orange,red,brown etc).

I just wish i knew about it before i had bought everything else at more expensive shops.

The balloon weights i saw in other shops were from £1.50 up to £4.00.....they had them for 60p!
