I've inherited a Bosch and can't seem to locate a filter on it anywhere. My old (very old) one which I've temporarily forgotten the name of had a little door at the bottom at the front.

many dont have an access door to the filter, you have to tip the machine slightly and fiddle about underneath

I can't tip my machine. There's no room for tipping. It's a very tight fit under the worktop.

Thanks everyone for your help but I have now found the filter....situated under the front plinth which just didn't seem like it came off.....but a bit of gentle persuasion proved otherwise.

Don't really matter if plinth goes back, 'cause washer no good, cost too much to repair so new one arriving Monday

I hope you've had a lot of good service out of it.I've looked at my plinth and it's fixed on with a couple of twisty button things. Haven't plucked up the courage to try taking it off yet. Good luck with the new washing machine purchase Mitzy.
