Travel Insurance

I'm heading off to Florida for a week in February and wondered how much travel insurance would be for seven days. Post Office quotes 42 quid - seems a lot to me.
Can anyone recommend a cheap company for travel insurance?

Re: Travel Insurance

I paid £70 quid for a worldwide annual policy, after I was quoted £38 for cover for two weeks in Europe.

Might be worth keeping in mind, if there's a chance you may go away again within the next twelve months.

Re: Travel Insurance

Just had a quick shifty.

Around £40 is about right, just check whether it includes baggage cover as some you have to add and pay extra for.

Also remember personal possessions (baggage) is usually coved upto £1500 per adult. Valubles (Some Inc Digi cameras ect) limited to £300.

You can add extra cover to you household insurance to cover these at little cost.

Re: Travel Insurance

No problem, I've used them a few times (without claim) and know many others who have and also had claims without any problem
