Re: Wheelie Bins
Has anybody noticed that there are quite a few wheelie bins still outside peoples houses, the community wardens should be taking note of this and passing the info onto the council.
Then if anything happens to the bins they should be charged for it after all it is tax payers money which was used to but them. |
Re: Wheelie Bins
I have noticed that people are still putting bin bags out, do they no know that they will not be collected?
Perhaps they dont have a wheelie bin (I think not). |
Re: Wheelie Bins
Problem is if the council keep taking them, which they have been doing the last few weeks, people will never learn.
|
Re: Wheelie Bins
But surely the wardens should keep an eye on the situation and go and tell the house holder to remove the bags and dispose of them correctly.
|
Re: Wheelie Bins
I thought so too, but the council in general seems to take a long time to respond if they report any incidents.
You would think the Environmental Health Department would be assessing the situation anyway. Any comments Neal? Any chance of getting some feedback from the EH Dept for us? As it is, the situation is taking the micky out of responsible householders. |
Re: Wheelie Bins
A couple of years ago, when i lived in Church,I accidently missed the binmen, by minutes, without realising. As I was a away for the rest of the day, my binbags were left out till I came home at night. At which point ! took them back in.
I received a letter a couple of days later, reminding me that this situation was not satisfactory!! Is this happening here with these people who do it all the time? If not why not! If they have been contacted and are still doing it, why isn't action being taken? |
