Post Re: Wheelie Bins

I was talking to the binmen the other day. They were saying that some of the bins they are emptying are full of maggots. Apparently certain people are putting their rubbish straight into the bin without bags. Yuk! they can still use  black bags or carrier bags. And Wheelie bin liners are a good idea.

Post Re: Wheelie Bins

The binmen were also saying that they had to go and pick up a dead cat in the alley. If it was a dog they would have to contact someone to have it picked up, but a cat is put in the crusher. I think that's disgusting.
Someone tell me why they don't deserve the same treatment.

And why should the binmen have to do that anyway?

Post Re: Wheelie Bins

we use Wheelie bin liners they come on a roll like black bags about the same price too
and carrier bags to keep them clean
also painted house number on bin.
they tend to get swoped otherwise
could end up with maggoty one [smiley=puke.gif]

Post Re: Wheelie Bins

I think the wheelie bins are much better than just the black bin bags. I know there are lots of concerns especially among the elderly people but in the long run our community will be amuch cleaner and safer environment because of these new bins
