Re: toys of the 70's and 80's
I remember getting some clackers (two very hard balls on some string that you banged together), and nearly smashing my wrists. No wonder they banned them. But they were brilliant. Also connect 4, and Buckeroo games that have stood the test of time

Stickle bricks - the poor persons lego
Tressie - yep, had one of them plus had a Lone Ranger doll instead of a Ken doll - kept making them get married and ride off into the sunset together. ;) Also had Pippa dolls - there were about 100 in the series, 97 women and 3 men dolls. :D Stylophones - nearest I ever came to mastering a musical instrument  Mastermind - can still buy these Rubics cube - used to cheat by peeling off the stickers - and did anyone ever try Rubics clocks or Rubics snake? |
Re: toys of the 70's and 80's
I had a barrel shaped Rubiks thing that was very hard to cheat with, the cube, I used to take it to bits, I remember having a Weebles playground type thing and a Fisher price School.
