I don't think so Grego. Screwballs had a cone shape and had a bubble gum ball in the bottom. http://www.parsicecream.com/Popsicle...0099_small.jpg The ones I'm thnking of were football shaped (but about tennis ball sizehttp://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/i...cons/icon9.gif) with a small lid that popped or screwed off. Inside was filled with fairly poor quality ice cream.

Yesterday, one of my colleagues re-applied her perfume, "Oh" say I "That smells just like those Cherry Lips we used to buy as kids".
"Oh NO" replies she "Couldn't stand the smell of those".

Yet another faux pas by Kate. Went as red as those sweets used to be, I can tell ya'.:o

Try the sweet stall inside the market hall, haven't seen them but they do have a good range, other than that Ossy Mills.

Ah yes, Margaret, but which sort ? ... the rainbow type which left yer palate without its top layer of skin, or the pink American Soda but had a tendency to give you flatulence :s_fart: :D

I remember i used to go to taylors at the corner where panack hairdressers is now in ossy, and used to get 2p ice lollys, shame they shut, theres never really any good toffee shops anymore!!:(
