What is your dream or ambition in life.
 

My dream is that one day i will have enough money to visit Graceland, then go on to Dysneyland and then stop off at Vagas on the way back home.
Then with lady luck on my side i would put my last coin in a slot machine and win the jackpot.
Well, we can but dream.  ::) ::)

I have always believed in doing what you dream.. My wife was well chuffed with this when we got together. I told her to make a list of the things she always wanted to do and one way or another we would do them..

One of the things on the list was to go ski-ing (This from someone who had never been furthur than blackpool in her life)  ...So I said one step at a time.. First to Rossendale for a few goes.. Then that place up scotland to do it on snow and finally at least a weekend if not a week in a proper ski resorty abroad...

After 2 goes at rossendale she decided ski-ing wasnt for her and she never wanted to go again.. hahahaha

Everything else on her list was done.. Including passing her driving test which she did first time and now never drives..

I still ahve one thing on my list.. Never been horse riding.. But I need to do another list or else I wont have anything to look forward to if I do that last thing...

But I cant think of owt to put on the list....Would like to learn the language Urdu.. Always wanted to speak it.. But as I ahvent mastered my own English language I cant see it happening real soon..

Pretty fulfilled here.. done everything we ever wanted to do :)

I would love to see the Grand Canyon and New Orleans. One of my dreams is New Zealand, which I am doing in November, along with Hong Kong and Bangkok. Littlemo mentioned going to Ontario to see her when we are both 40, which I would also love to do.

How romantic HarryX. That's so nice, writing a list of dreams that you and your wife want to achieve. Mightdo that myself, you've given me an idea now.
My biggest dream is to work on a development project in the 3rd world. My husband says to wait while we're retired, he's not so keen on the idea. You never know though, one day...

Don't worry HarryX, it would only mean I'm a "young-aged pensioner", doesn't mean that you're old at all! and after my early retirement I'd be off working in the 3rd world fulfilling my dream, remember, and I think you need to be young and fit for that, don't you? :)

:D   Just realised that it is only 7 weeks off my dream holiday. My step brother and his family moved to New Zealand in january 2002, and I have been saving up to go and see them ever since. I am having 3 nights in Hong Kong on the way there, then flying to Brisbane (it was Melbourne but Quantas have re-scheduled my flight) On to Aukland for 17 nights then to Sydney, finally having 4 nights in Bangkok on the way home. I am soooo excited now and can't wait to do some major sightseeing and hopefully christmas shopping. It has been a bind saving all my holidays this year in order to get the time off, but it will be worth it, if only to buy my little nephew a decent christmas pressie while I'm there. :)

Wondering where I can go next, already saving up for the next one. ;D

My life's ambition is, and always has been, to be able to make money as fast as I can spend it.

Never got there yet ...... ah well, there's always the lottery (yeah).

And if anybody had ever told me that I would earn what I earn now and wouldn't be rich, I would never have believed it - but it's too true!

well i got my dream in 1996, when i spent 3 weeks with my best friend at her house just outside sydney australia, id always dreampt of going when i was 60yrs but i did it a bit earlier, anne sydney is very cosmopolitan, its graet, my best place was "darling harbour" its brill//

Im not sure what my dreams and ambitions are, 3 years ago it was to be in a happy household where i could seriously relax,have fun, and have my own personal space that would never be interrupted by anyone else, have a good job thats a bit of a challenge yet pays quite well, go out when i want and not worry about money, go out a bit more and not have all the stress of family.......2 years later and i have got all that :) my only aim i have at the moment is to become 100% physically, mentally and financially well in order to have children whilst im quite young :) Wish me luck!haha.

Well Doug, I think most love is conditional, except perhaps, that of some parents for their children, and I don't think ALL parents feel that.

Yeh last year of school on course to get 12 A-C's GCSE's then onto college and the university....

4 GCSE for a full BTEC in Physical education and 5 GCSE for a A course in same. Must be English and Maths or you don't get in... Smiffy my daughter just started BTEC PE course at blackburn college, they dont do it at Accy

Yeh we've been on various trips to colleges and uni's around the area and I more or less certain on St. Marys College in Blackburn...........as for the University Lancaster was impressive.

Never too late - I want to do my PhD when I retire (except that I will have to do some work in a university lab). I had an offer of a place at Exeter some years back, but the boring necessity of earning a living got in the way. Once I retire on my fabulous State pension (which will probably be rather less than I am currently paying the State), and my little pittance from Equitable Life (don't ask!) etc, I am hoping to be able to finally get round to it. It is in a rather abstruse area of cognitive psychology - any offers of subjects, folks?
