Re: WHAT WERE YOU MADE TO DO WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG
I was not made to respect my elders...but I was taught to respect them for their life experience.
I was also taught to give up my seat on public transport....something I would still do today if I saw an elderly person standing. I was taught that it was rude to answer back to an adult....I was taught that manners cost nothing and singled you out from those who had none. |
Re: WHAT WERE YOU MADE TO DO WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG
Tearing the newspaper up and stringing it was one of my jobs. Got into trouble twice. First time for wrong choice of newspaper - the ink came off. Second time same - but appealed and got off because the newspaper had changed the ink it used and I hadn't noticed (actually I had!).

I assume Bronco was equivalent to Izal (I think that is the correct spelling), one side polished and usless the other sandpaper and ouch! |
Re: WHAT WERE YOU MADE TO DO WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG
Yes....Bronco and Izal were very similar....and as you say, pretty damn useless.
