Ok sat here eating my breakfast and told spug what my mum used to say and he laughed.

I was eating toast - and left the crusts and mum used to say eat your crusts and your hair will go curly!!! Well i didnt want my hair to go curly and so never eat the crusts!!! Another one was eat your carrots up so then you can see in the dark.

I remember people saying "Ive shot em" but with an I instead of an O..maybe they were cruder in Burnley :)

My mum once asked me to get some wet water to fill her steam iron. I cracked up laughing:D
