The Masonic Hall in Ossy's just been put up for sale.

Can't see there being much of a market for it.

you should ask its owner what hes going to do with it ... though we dont see him much around here now.. hes got his big shop round the corner from the great tree ...;)

I never went in the pub but I did have my breakfast in the cafe next door nearly every Saturday morning when we was returning to our depot in Accrington. That would be in the late 70's early 80's.

Was a regular calling place for me too Gremlin the Guy that owned it was a Romanie gypsy and also dealt in Gold, when he closed the cafe he moved to Baxenden, remember going to see him when the Wife wanted a charm bracelet after she lost her's when we were burgled

I don't remember much about the owner jaysay, it was just a handy place to park six tankers across the other side of the road. We used to park in Bury Friday night and get our lodging money but cadge a lift home. Saturday we would get back to Bury and stop for breakfast in the cafe before we went back to the depot. Four hours at time and half and and a nights expenses tax free.

When I drove a class 2 at shopfitters Gremlin, doing that was called flying, coming home and booking a nights exes, that was the only thing with regards to time keeping and working hours booked that was instant dismissal, no warning no second chance collect your cards and do not pass go:eek:
