Tiswas was great and also the Tube with Jools Holland. Used to love the A Team, how they could make major weapons (which never actually hurt anybody), out of a bit of string, bog roll cardboard and a cornflake packet was ingenious... Class...

I never liked the A Team - my kids used to watch it, but for me it was violence without consequences - explosions, bullets flying, but nobody got badly hurt or anything other than a bit battered.

That said, Andy Pandy could get a bit heavy, and as for those Flowerpot Men and their strange relationship with Little Weed ...
