We're now using the DNS recommendations which Bulldog provided and we are both up and running again.

Next job is to se if we can get the kids online as well!

That's easier said than done because the room their PC is in is full of stuff for a car boot sale!!!

I had similar problems with Tiscali with regard to the 12 month contract.

I called them about a month into my contract and told them that I wanted to cancel. They said I couldn't do that as I had signed up for their contract.

I told them that they weren't getting a penny from me, so they had better cancel it.

After a few more phone calls they finally sorted out the initial problem, and I stayed with them, until I transferred to Telewest. The best thing with that is that I have been upgraded to 4mb for free, and no download limits!

As A Pipex customer myself I dont appreciate my ISP's DNS being given as a fallback for people who chose a pathetic excuse for an ISP.
