Re: I Am Making A Web Site
Do you have broadband at home? If you you can run a basic site from home by using apache as a webserver and DynDns.org to point a 'friendly URL' to your home PC. You need to be careful re security(Firewalls etc but I can talk you through this off line if you like.) but it is quite easy to setup and wouldn't cost you anything except leaving your pc on all day/night.

Re: I Am Making A Web Site
At www.ukreg.com I got a .co.uk domain for under £7 for 2 years.
At I-web I got a webspace for £10.99 a year that will do whatever you seem to want & more. (you have to be a member of cable forum to get it at that price). |
Re: I Am Making A Web Site
I use fortunecity but sometimes it disappears temporarily without warning.
