A Burning Problem

after downloading a film (legally)
if i want to burn a copy to disc
using nero 7 i can just about work out
what to do
however after the complete burn
it only allows me to use the disc on a computer
any answers as to why as simple as possible please

the film is in .avi format and not .dvd so u need to download a converter off the internet it might not be .avi

Make sure the disc has been 'finalised'

to burn a downloaded film to disk the best thing to do is use nero's (create own dvd) lets you put in the video file of your choice and also lets you use menu titles and stuff. then let it burn, it will take maybe 1-2 hours, nothing can be done about the time im afraid
