chat rooms

hi,most of you will have heard about various chat rooms closing down on the net,just wondered what they are,,i know MSN rooms are closing 14th oct,,,,but not heard of any others tho i dare say there will be more than just MSN

The AccringtonWeb chatroom will not be closing down.  This is due to the fact that nobody uses it so nobody is in any danger. Therefore we can offer a safe chatroom!  ;D

Dont think there are many other chat rooms closing as it's only microsoft closing their chat rooms i only know of MSN that they have others will carry on as normal. closing chatrooms wont really work unless every chatroom closes as the people they are trying to avoid by closing the rooms will only move on to other rooms as will the users

aol closed their chatrooms a few months ago but didnt tell aol users......lol

glad i changed from aol and went to ntl broadband!

We had 5 in yesterday afternoon from 3 countries. Weird when you think how far apart you are yet you can natter away in there as if you were in the same house.
We're gonna try for 6 by the end of the week. New record.  ;D
