Post Digital Photograph Printing

I know you can get it done on line, but is there anywhere nearby that I can take a CD/Memory card full of pics and get them printed out at high quality?

Post Re: Digital Photograph Printing

cheers all - just got back, found jessops no problem. Garth Dawson only offer a sending away thing, 3 days they quoted!! A bit rubbish really when I could get them next day with an internet service.  Jessops had a 1 hour service and did some great prints upto 10"x12"  Forunately you can crop the pictures yourself to fit the photographic paper so all results where good! Funny that they don't offer printing at the digital cameras size, as european labs do - thus requiring no cropping at all, when I asked about this he said it was impossible..... ;D hehe impossible to print on a different size paper? hehe...2 weeks training and you can turn anything into a photo lab technician!!!

Have you considered doing them yourself on your own printer Roy?

I use Max Speilmans to get my 35m developed onto CD and then if there are some on the CD I want to print, I buy a pack of high gloss paper from Asda (honest) and print them off individually when I have cropped them.

Saved me a fortune over the past year or so.

Thumbs up Printing photos

Buy a card reader from PC World, (About £25), Copy your photos to hard disk or cd, and print your own. Bobs your uncle.

You can't print as good a quality as a photolab. Plus 8x10 for 1.25 from jessops online is cheaper than printing them yourself.

If you are setup to print your own you will get carried away. printing all the time and wasting a lot. When you have to send them off you tend to only do the ones you want.

Each to his own as per
