how do i stop pop up appearing on my computer i have norton security and still get these annoying things

you could always install a google tool bar wich comes with a pop up blocker.

Or use a decent browser (Firefox, opera, in fact anything excpet IE)

Norton IMHO is rubbish, you pay a fortune for a product that realistically does sod all more than free software that is available(AVG, Zonealarm etc)

i have a computer that has a virus norton cant get rid of it where can i get a mop up disc to completely remove this annoying virus

Try a different AV client, I've used AVG for years on peoples computers and never had any problems with it (I don't use Windows so don't suffer your problems)

There are others, I'm sure people will offer their own choices, There is even an online one (PC Cillin IIRC)

Microsoft has an online pc safety centre. Were they scan you pc for viruses etc. Give it a try.
Windows Live Safety center

Or download and install the following. Ones an add ware remover and the other’s an antivirus software.

Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition 1.06

AVG Anti-Virus Free

i was given a floppy disc to clean up a virus that norton could not get rid of but it doesnt work on my computer does any one know what i can do or what programme i need thanks
