Ntl Broadband

If you are on NTL broadband do you have to have a phone connection or can you have internet accsess without having to be connected to a phone line, eg bt, cable etc.

If its broadband you can use the phone at the same time as you are connected to the internet, on dial up the line is used so you can only use one of them ie phone or internet connection.

You can get ntl through a cable, I think you have to take out their phone or tv package, dont think you can just have broadband but not 100% sure so better off waiting for someone else to reply

I had NTL about 18 months ago, broadband only, they didn't insist on telephone or TV package. Their offers and promotions are changing regularly though, so could be different now.
