Re: How do I do a screenshot?
MissT said that she had managed to cut n shut it into IFV. I got the impression that its sat at that stage ie. that she doesn't know that it needed to be saved as a file on her PC such that could then be either attached to a post or hosted somewhere.
Not at that point. when it comes to hosting pictures etc thats a completely different stage. PCs, easy aren't they! |

Re: How do I do a screenshot?
I was just trying to clarify what Irfanview is/does as I have never used it myself.
So after you do what you've done with it, be it resize or create a slideshow or whatever you then save the finished article onto your PC from where you can upload it to t'internet. If it's small enough then uploading direct to AccyWeb is easy enough. 'Go Advanced', then click on 'Manage Attachments' and when the new window opens click 'Browse' under where it says 'Upload File from your Computer', choose the relevant file and click on 'upload' which will then upload the image as an attachment. If you want to paste it in the body of the post you need the properties of the uploaded attachment which you find by clicking on the name under where it says 'Current Attachments'. Copy that. Then go into the text of your post, click on the little image above the box, the one that looks like pyramids against a yellow sky and in the box which opens paste the URL which you copied. Make sure that you don't leave the http:// in which is already there because you'll have got that already in your copy and you don't want it twice. For eBay you'll need to use a separate hosting service. Most people opt for photobucket as it's very user friendly. |
